This Newbury based business are IT Distributors with an impressive success story within their market. Due to considerable growth, they are looking to employ an Internal Sales Specialist to join their team.
You will be a pivotal part of their dynamic sales team. The role involves actively driving sales and business development efforts for a specific product. You will work closely with other sales professionals, technical teams, and channel partners to maximise sales opportunities and achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development: Drive sales of the product through various channels. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing customised solutions.
Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the products and services to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients and partners.
Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify new sales opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities and progress against targets to management.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to resellers and system houses on the product.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the software or IT sector.
Strong understanding of the software distribution process and channel sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and articulate technical product features and benefits.
Strong analytical skills and ability to strategize effectively.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
