Internal Sales Team Leader - GBP24k-GBP26k + Monthly profit-related sales bonus - Nelson, Lancashire
The Role:
Are you an experienced sales professional with a knack for leading teams and enhancing customer relationships? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes from start to finish?
We are seeking an Internal Sales Team Leader to join our dynamic team at North Valley Metal Co Ltd. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our customer relationships, overseeing the sales process, and leading our Sales Team to achieve and exceed our sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Regularly communicating with existing customers to deepen relationships and boost sales.
Leading and supervising a dedicated team, ensuring smooth department operations.
Handling phone queries and general administrative tasks.
Managing UK territories as an Account Manager.
Overseeing the entire order process, from receipt to completion, including after-sales service.
Keeping customers updated on order progress and lead times.
Collaborating with the Sales Team, warehouse, and credit control to ensure timely order dispatch.
Producing delivery notes and labels for carriers.
Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with current customers.
Preparing and following up on quotations.
Providing sales targets updates to the line manager.
The role is based FT in the office 08:15 - 16:45 Mon - Thurs and 08:15 - 15:45 Friday.

A proven sales background with team management experience.
Excellent time management skills and proficiency in Sage/Microsoft Office.
A proactive approach to customer service and Team Leadership.
The ability to oversee detailed administrative tasks and maintain high levels of organisation.
