The role

The International Student Recruitment Team (ISRT) supports the University in the recruitment of international students, developing and implementing marketing plans, providing specific market knowledge and representing the University on student recruitment missions overseas.

The International Recruitment Assistant takes responsibility for response to enquiries from prospective applicants, and maintaining the pages of the International Recruitment website. The role also provides UK-based support for the International Recruitment team when they are out of the office ensuring that colleagues are well-supported logistically.

What will you be doing?

The role will provide advice to applicants relating to University study, alongside managing the process for prospective student campus tours.

The Assistant will also provide logistical support for recruitment events, and support the arrangements of incoming visits to the University from prospective students and stakeholders, including booking rooms and catering, managing guest lists and monitoring attendance.

The role also takes the lead on processing invoices and expense claims arising from expenditure by the team.

You should apply if

This is an excellent opportunity if you have excellent IT skills, strong attention to detail to check with documentation and reporting plus the ability to organise and prioritise tasks.

Customer service experience is desirable, with a commitment to providing high quality customer service (to staff, applicants, and other stakeholders).

Excellent written and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a supportive team.
