Job Description
The International Sales Manager - Consumer Electronics will be responsible for managing a portfolio of distribution partners across major international markets. Working closely with the Global Sales Director, they will develop and execute the strategic sales plan across the markets in question. They will continually look at range opportunities, monitor the retail opportunities in each market, continually research competition, market data and performance to work closely with each distributor to make sure they are maximising all sales opportunities.
Be a strong presence for the brand in each market, attending trade shows and fairs relevant for the industry. Be responsible for each P&L within the markets, agree on budgets and key commercial objectives as well as managing margins and profitability. Work closely with HQ on reporting all commercial activity, forecasting and all commercial opportunities for growth.
The Successful Applicant
The International Sales Manager - Consumer Electronics will come with the following skills and experiences relevant to the role:
- A background in Consumer Electronics, electronics accessories or Audio products.
- Strong account management, retail and distributor management skills.
- A strong track record in the above, and able to illustrate strong sales and commercial output and results.
- International market experience - we are interested in candidates who have experience across mainland Europe but also Middle East and Asia.
- Self-starter, proactive attitude and approach - business development as well as account management mindset.
- Organised, with strong presentation skills - excellent gravitas.
- Excellent financial and IT skills e.g. Excel, MS Office etc.
- Background in distribution analysis and management, managing a network of distributors successfully but also research and change when required.
- Candidates need to be flexible on international travel for the role and enjoy this part of the job too.
We are very flexible on the location of the right candidate therefore anywhere in England is considered, however they would need to attend sales meetings 3-4 times per year in the south east based office.
What's on Offer
£55,000 to £65,000 basic salary (DOE) + bonus/commission + benefits + home-based contract.
