Are you an Ex-Forces Engineer or a Service Engineer with experience working overseas looking for a role offering expert training, tailored development plans and the opportunity to travel all over the world?
In this role, 25% of your time will be servicing and repairing a wide range of electronic, electrical and mechanical equipment within mostly industrial and manufacturing environments around the UK and Overseas. When not on the road, you will be working from a Cambridge based office supporting customers and engineers over the phone and through technical documents. To begin with, you will spend 6-9months in specialist training to understand the products.
This company is a leading provider of thermal imaging solutions to major institution like NASA and the MOD, offering cutting-edge infrared cameras for industrial, scientific, security, and military applications. You will be working in their Cambridge site, home to over 70 employees, on various high-tech and specialised projects.
This role would suit an Ex-Forces Engineer, Multiskilled Service Engineer or similar who is looking for a role offering expert training and a balance of office based work and international travel.
The Role:

• 75% Office based, supporting customers and clients remotely
• 25% International Servicing, up to 2 weeks away at a time
• Repairing equipment on customer sites
• Liaising with customers remotely to troubleshoot and solve issues

The Person:

• Ex-Forces Engineer or International Service Engineer
• Electrical and Mechanical Fault Finding
• Full UK Driving License and Passport
