My client is a UK headquartered business and is the largest global company in its industry. The established tax team is searching for an International Tax Advisor to focus on the Africa region based in London.
As an International Tax Advisor, you will report to the Tax Manager who looks after Africa and will be supported by the broader Finance team. Some of your responsibilities include:
- Provide input on the basis for the tax forecasting of the African projects.
- Work closely with the group tax reporting team to ensure that the reporting obligations are met on a timely basis.
- Being the main point of contact for corporate tax compliance services and transfer pricing services and fostering a relationship with the advisors.
- Collaborating with the local finance teams across 40 different African jurisdictions to ensure the Group meet the deadlines efficiently and minimize any tax risks.
To be considered, you should ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified with International Tax experience. Exposure to the African region is desirable although not a strict requirement. Excellent project management skills and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential.
In return, you will receive a salary package of £60,000-£80,000 depending on experience plus a discretionary bonus and a host of benefits. The team follow a flexible work pattern of 1-2 days in the office.
This role will offer visa sponsorship to candidates who are already based in the UK.
