International Tax Manager - Indirect Tax

I am delighted to be working with a leading global law firm and assisting them with the recruitment of an International Tax Manager – Indirect Tax. Your expertise will drive the development and implementation of the Indirect Tax technology strategy. As the Tax Technology Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the approach to e-invoicing, e-reporting, and traditional VAT reporting methods. You will collaborate with finance teams across an international network to establish robust local VAT reporting processes and utilize cutting-edge tax technology to streamline procedures, empowering finance professionals to focus on insightful analysis rather than data preparation. This role will ensure global VAT reporting compliance through vigilant monitoring of filing processes staying abreast of evolving VAT reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate is likely to be a qualified Accountant (ACCA or equivalent) or Tax Advisor (CTA or equivalent) with a solid foundation in Indirect Tax/VAT principles. The preferred candidate is expected to have advanced MS Excel skills and practical experience with VAT reporting systems and processes. You must be a a self-motivated individual who approaches work with logic and organization, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and an interest in utilizing technology for tax reporting. The role demands agility and a proactive mindset, requiring the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and showcase a flexible and collaborative working style.
