Working Hours: 37.5 hrs ( 06:00 -14:00/14:00 -22:00)
Location: Coventry (CV2 2TA)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Inventory Clerk to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Assist the First Line managers with the management of the inventory
• Responsible for the weekly cycle counting / Perpetual Inventory counts as stipulated by the FLM
• Work with the First Line Managers to ensure best utilisation of space
• Update the warehouse management system with stock movements
• Report any discrepancies to Management
• Resolve all stock discrepancies
• Assist in Client Stock Takes
• Working in a team environment
  

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• The role is full based onsite in **Coventry ** , with 3 weeks initial training off site in **Skelmersdale ** expenses paid for
• You will be required to start 25th March 2024
• Experience in a similar role 2 years min - essential
• Start-up experience- desirable
• Broad Operational Background in high volume order processing
• Practical knowledge of logistics software **6 Rivers system ** fulfillment Solutions & Warehouse Automation - Essential
• Stock / Inventory experience - is desirable
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions.
• Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations.
