Page Personnel have partnered with a leading manufacturing business based in Portsmouth who are now looking to add highly talented Inventory Controller to their team.
Description
The Inventory Controller based in Portsmouth can expect to have the following responsibilities:
- To take full responsibility for all inventory accuracy from Goods Receipt to Finished Goods storage and despatch through to 3PL warehousing specialising in given area's but providing cover as and when required.
- Initiate perpetual inventory mechanism to maintain continued accuracy and reliability of stock records, analyzing stock status and movement of all parts under control whilst maintaining production continuity.
- Determine and prioritise daily / weekly counts by obtaining and analyzing information pertaining to build programme, incoming good quality/packaging etc., to balance stock levels for all suppliers/ship to numbers.
- To aid and support in the realisation of 100% stock accuracy for each location.
- Investigate discrepancies between physical and system stocks and instigate the 8D process.
Profile
The successful Inventory Controller will come with the following skill-set:
- Familiarity withing an warehousing environment
- FLT License is beneficial
- Stock control experience is essential
- Excel knowledge
- ERP is essential
- SAP knowledge is essential
