Inventory Controller

Main Responsibilities:
Working within a despatch position, you will be required to adhere to the following:
Taking delivery of parts/organising parts to suppliers
Checking for damaged or missing items
Ensuring all parts have correct location within the stores department.
Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and colleagues.
Maintain a clean and tidy packing area as well as storage areas.
Document pick lists accurately using computer systems.
Control stock levels efficiently.
Operate pump trucks, forklift trucks (training provided), cranes, lifts, and slings (training provided).
Development:
Willingness to undertake developmental training as required.
Directly report to the Spares Manager, who reports to the Service Director.
Functional and Personal Skills:
Proficient in using hand tools.
Strong time management capabilities.
Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
Capacity to repeatedly lift and handle goods daily.
Flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
Education and Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Experience with parts and stock control systems.
Prior experience with stocktaking.
Previous work experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Exposure to an engineering environment is advantageous.
