SalaryInventory Controller – Packaging
Working in a manufacturing environment you’ll be responsible for the flow of packaging materials into the business. By understanding and utilising the forecasts and production plans, you’ll be making sure production have what they need, exactly when they need it, without overstocking.
You’ll be constantly monitoring stock levels across a large number of sku’s and working with suppliers to get things in on time and escalating any concerns to the Planning Manager. You’ll build relationships with the sales team to make sure promotional packaging is available and advise on shortfalls or anticipated issues so action can be taken before they become business critical.
You’ll be generating codes for skus, updating the WMS, calling off packaging, reconciling stock, identifying and reporting on supplier damages as well as raising PO’s on items to maintain minimum stock levels. In addition you’ll complete stock counts across the different sites in the North West and as such need to be flexible on travel.
They are looking for someone with excellent stock control and supply planning skills, who understands what good looks like in a warehouse and is highly competent on excel.
