Inventory Planning Administrator

£32,000 - £35,000 + Bonus + Hybrid Working + Benefits
An exciting new opportunity now exists for an experienced Inventory Planning Administrator with strong supply chain experience to join a leading, fast-growing supplier of textile accessory brands to the business-to business personalisation industry.
As the home of four leading textile brands, each with their own unique identity and philosophy, our client has established themselves as the go-to brand for quality, innovative products in the rebrandable accessories market.
In order to provide the administrative foundation for future development of the international supplier list, an experienced and proactive individual with a focus on working with suppliers of sustainable, ecologically responsible products is required to take responsibility for ensuring continuous stock availability for over 3000 SKUs.
Working closely with the Purchasing Manager, purchasing team members and other adjacent teams who collectively have accountability for the management of stock levels and logistics, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end supply of products from our suppliers to warehouses based in Northern England and Europe.
The post holder will quickly become part of a dedicated team who enable our client's extensive range of bags and accessories to be available in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities



  • Review and release purchase requisitions to maintain target stock levels in market.

  • Working with the manufacturers and internal teams to ensure that stock is despatched and delivered according to the agreed service level thus enabling on-time delivery of product into warehouses.

  • Track and report on-time and in-full delivery for each supplier.

  • Ensure the resolution of supply issues as they arise.

  • Ensure accurate master data is maintained in our systems (PRIMA)

  • Ensure PRIMA is fully updated with all inbound, outbound and finished goods movements.

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers developing strong working relationships.

  • Purchase from suppliers as contracted by the Product Development team and raise purchase orders using PRIMA

  • Liaise with suppliers to improve supply confirmation and delivery accuracy.

  • Manage inventory levels and phase-in-out process.

  • Maintain regular contact with internal departments and suppliers about special orders.

  • Maintain the ERP system (PRIMA) system such as adding new products, suppliers, changes in lead times

  • Regularly review all elements of supply chain planning parameters and master data and ensure these are correctly maintained in PRIMA.



Skills & Experience



  • The right candidate will have a minimum of 4 years working with international suppliers and at least 2 years working as a Planner.

  • A good understanding of supply chain, procurement and/or warehousing/distribution

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Proficient in using bespoke ERP systems, experience with PRIMA would be very advantageous.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Keen attention to detail with the capability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.

  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines when the need arises.

  • Highly adaptable to change, demonstrating a proactive approach.

  • Ideally experience within a fast-moving, international consumer products business.

  • Ability to prioritise a broad operational agenda.

  • Having experience in managing supplier relationships, working with far east and Bangladeshi suppliers would be advantageous.

  • Educated to NVQ level 5/degree or equivalent experience - desirable.
