Inventory Support

Summary

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months- 35 hours a week
Reporting to: Inventory Manager
Division: Supply Chain

As Inventory Support you will join us on our journey and undertake a truly valuable role responsible for monitoring and implementing both remedial and corrective action for cash, ATM, and bureau. This is to ensure that branches have the right levels of cash to operate.

This role offers you an exciting opportunity to support Post Office branches as part of a busy call centre specialising in funding requirements and investigating and correcting anomalies in the planning.

You will be working closely alongside the Inventory Manager as well as the Retail Line and Cash Services on the management of cash and bureau. As well as this, you will be maintaining accurate branch planning data.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be well versed in customer service with the ability to work as part of a busy team. Ideally, as Inventory Support, you will understand standard inventory and stock control techniques. You will:


• Possess first-class communication skills with the ability to collaborative and influence
• Be a competent user of Excel and windows based programmes
• Excellent telephone manner
• Numerate and able to assimilate large volumes of data
• Good negotiation skills
