The role:
An exciting opportunity to join British Airways Corporate Safety and Security team as an Investigation and Security Manager has arisen!
Reporting to the Senior Investigation and Security Manager, you will lead and deliver a wide variety of global security functions to support delivery against our commitment of being Safe and Secure always.
What you’ll do:
- Lead corporate security investigations such as fraud, theft, corruption, insider threat, data incidents and safeguarding.
- Manage organisational security risk management, including the maintenance of any documentation..
- Lead our assessment and operational response to protests.
- Manage our global law enforcement liaison.
- Responsibilities are interchangeable between Investigation and Security Managers and there may also be a requirement for the role holder to deliver security services to other companies within the IAG Group.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
- Ability to work in an unpredictable, incident led environment.
- Strong communication skills and able to effectively engage and work collaboratively at all levels of the business.
- A collected approach with the ability to remain calm and solution focused under pressure.
- Proficient in report writing and comfortable using a variety of IT systems, including Office 365.
Your experience:
- A background of managing complex investigations to PIP 2 Police Standard, or equivalent investigative experience, is essential.
- Expertise in one or more of the following specialisms would be advantageous: economic crime, safeguarding, cyber investigations and data analysis
