About our client
We're working with an impressive and dynamic team who are already well-established in Europe and the US. There, they partner with venture-backed startups (typically deeptech and life sciences) by offering unique tailored financing solutions, empowering companies to scale rapidly and maximize their potential.
They are looking to make an Associate hire who will work alongside a UK Managing Director and UK Principal to help establish the new London office. You will also work closely with the Swiss and German teams.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing their presence in the UK as the leading asset financing specialist for startups and, as such, they are looking for an entrepreneurially-minded individual who has tenacity and communication skills. Alongside this mindset, it is important that you bring an analytical toolkit and financial rigour. What the job involves

• Deal analysis and due diligence, conduct analysis of potential investment opportunities and support the deal team in due diligence
• Structuring and deal making, assist in financial structuring and negotiation of leasing and debt solutions
• Deal flow, source and screen potential investment opportunities
• Portfolio management
• Network and relationships, develop and cultivate a network throughout the VC and tech ecosystem in the UK

Who we are looking for

• An entrepreneurial, self-motivated team player
• University degree, in business or science/technology
• Relevant, full-time work experience ideally in structured finance, leveraged finance, venture debt or venture capital or a similar role
• Intellectual inquisitiveness
• Excellent interpersonal, team working and communication skills
