Investment Communications Manager , Investment Writer , Asset Management

The Client 

Our client is a growing Asset Management firm based in London and have a proven record of Investment capabilities covering a broad range of Investment Products.

The Role

The Investment Communications Manager / Investment Writer will work closely with the Front Office Fund Management teams and within the wider marketing business in undertaking the planning, the Investment Content creation and the editing of a wide range of investment editorial and thought-leadership Investment Content to be delivered to key audiences such as retail investors, investment-led intermediaries, wealth managers and institutional investors. 

The Investment Communications Manager / Investment Writer will be responsible for Investment Content idea generation and maintaining the schedule of regular insight notes & articles, podcasts and social media posts - ensuring relevant content is distributed to the Investment Management firm’s strategic partners.

The Investment Communications Manager / Investment Writer will be responsible for Investment Content creation to include researching, writing and editing investment content, keeping up to date on key financial trends and issues within the Investment industry.

The Investment Communications Manager / Investment Writer will work with subject matter experts to draft and template emarketing content, preparing questions and key messages for videos and webinars, create social media content and organise production of related materials ensuring content is aligned with brand positioning and key messages.

Investment content will include but not limited to regular client investment reporting, fund management updates, report & account investment reviews and fund manager insight notes.

The Candidate

3 years’ minimum experience in Investment Communications/Investment Writing, Financial Marketing in Asset Management setting.

Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively to communications.

Able to build a relationship with the Front Office Fund Managers.

Strong understanding of Compliance framework within the Marketing area and experience of producing and checking marketing communications in line with Compliance guidelines.

Pro-active and solutions-driven.

Self sufficient and able to work independently.
