The Role
The Investment Team Support Manager will have oversight of all Investment Management administrative, organisational and client related tasks ensuring they are completed accurately and efficiently and will have regular liaison with clients responding to a variety of enquires and queries.
The Investment Team Support Manager will mentor the team, supporting them with training and in developing their skillsets in delivery of excellent customer service.
The Investment Team Support Manager will collate & distribute account opening packs ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, and, will monitor the progress of the same as well as asset/cash transfers, to meet client service standards, communicating effectively keeping all parties updated.
Maintain MI and Investment Management Client Records ensuring both are up to date liaising closely with other departments, platforms & external custodians as necessary.
The Investment Team Support Manager will handle Client FX and trading requests and liaise with external custodians and providers to obtain information for clients and their advisers as well as be responsible for the distribution of US and UK tax reporting, handling enquiries and questions from tax advisers and clients.
When necessary attend Client events and be a presence for the team , producing agendas for regular Investment Support Team Meetings, record Operational risk events and coordinate Team absences.
The Candidate
3 + years experience in a Front Office setting ideally within Wealth Management / Investment Management within a similar investment support role.
Level 4 Qualified (Investment Advice Diploma) or equivalent qualification/experience – ESSENTIAL
Ready to step up into a Team Management role if not already, or interested in mentoring more junior members in the team.
Willing to undertake sufficient professional development for the role including CPD
Awareness of developments in the financial services industry and regulatory changes
Excellent people management skills with good initiative and a proactive mindset
Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
