IS Modernisation’s role is to provide an integrated Information Services and Security, project and programme delivery team to deliver the right business capabilities to support AWE’s Mission Delivery. A diverse team, with roles throughout the project and programme management environment, delivering a variety of projects within the technical space. With the vision to increase the tempo of delivery without impacting on safety and security here at AWE.
AWE is looking for a Project Coordinator to provide IS and the PMO support undertaking crucial activities to ensure delivery of Projects, Project Managers and requisitions are delivered in a timely manner to a high standard of quality and accuracy. Main tasks will require administration tasks, including writing and updating processes and operating procedures to support the PMO and the IS Senior Leadership to ensure that governance is met within the project environment as well as AWE processes.
Location - Reading area.
Salary - £27,550 - £35,000

Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver assigned tasks in accordance with requirements of the project portfolio and operational requirements and constraints.
- Provide accurate and relevant support to the PMO and to ensure that the delivery of requirements are met to ensure project delivery time constraints are met.
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in security, environment, safety, health and be a great team player.
- To be proactive, quick thinking and to have the ability to review and provide feedback and improvements to processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and delivering project related deliverables and tasks.
- Supports in all purchasing and invoicing requests for projects.
- Diary management and coordinating meetings
- Facilitating project communication
- Undertake associate project manager training to support this career gateway
