HSBC Global Banking and Markets is an emerging markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. Through our international network, we connect emerging and mature markets, covering key growth areas. We partner with our corporate, government and institutional clients to help them achieve consistent, long-term performance. Our products and services include advisory, financing, prime services, research and analysis, securities services, trading and sales and transaction banking.
This role focusses primarily on supporting the ISV Business Development activities with internal collaborators and servicing referred business, plus interaction with clients and pitching to partners, clients and prospective clients. The role will cover new business across the ISV product suite of Loans, Structured Finance, Escrow, Project and Export Finance and Conventional Debt.
This role is as an individual contributor as well as supporting the wider Issuer Services EMEA Business Development team.

In this role you will:
- Supporting the ISV EMEA team's Business Development targets.
- Strong collaboration with internal business introducers in Leveraged Finance, DCM, Real Estate, Corporate Loans and others to ensure we are effectively positioned to bid on all new business opportunities being originated from HSBC, covering both MENA and Europe.
- Assist in supporting group clients, helping grow revenues and providing key client engagement to stakeholders and product teams.
- Supporting the Business Development managers with post mandate implementation work. Ensure we continue to get good feedback from our stakeholders and internal client base.
- Ensure internal referrals are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Prepare quotes, presentation and take more active role on transactions, where required. Increase the number of bids and also the bid to win ratio.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Client Services, Relationship Management or Sales / Sales Support Background
- Able to work independently as a self-starter, in a busy environment and manage requests and business priorities effectively.
- Strong Organisational Skills. Excellent communicator (both written and verbal).
- Ability to Network. Strong analytical and presentation skills (Power point essential)
- An interest in the capital markets, financial markets. Understanding of the Issuer Services products.
