SalaryAtkinson Moss are delighted to be working with a successful and growing IT company based North Norwich in their search for an IT Account Manager.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and growing the client base, identifying new opportunities and consequently profitable growth. Being the first point of contact for existing clients and ensuring their needs are met, your ability to build strong relationships, understand client requirements, and provide tailored solutions will be key to your success.
Additional responsibilities of the role include managing a sales pipeline, maintaining regular communication via phone, email, and in-person as well as ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all interactions.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services
- Producing customer forecasts and strategies
- Quote preparation for new and existing client IT requirements
- Regular client/customer meetings
- Query/issue escalation
- Networking
- New Business generation from existing database
- Achieving monthly KPI and Sales Targets
- Proficient in prospecting effectively and managing the full sales cycle
- Keep up to date with new products and services relevant to new and existing clients
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in a technically focused account management role or previous sales role
- Strong relationship building and management skills
- Strong commercial acumen - numerate, data driven
- A high level of attention to detail, especially when handling multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday - Friday and offers a salary between £26,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience.
