Job description

The Role:

As a leading Managed Service Provider in Barnsley, our client takes pride on delivering top-tier IT and support services to a diverse client base. The Account Manager will be the bridge between their clients and technical team, ensuring that all services meet and exceed client expectations. You will play a crucial role in nurturing long-term relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring they receive timely, effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of clients, understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries, and ensuring they receive outstanding service.
  • Work closely with the technical team to devise and deliver effective solutions tailored to each client's needs.
  • Monitor service delivery performance, identifying and addressing any issues to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular reviews and reports with clients to demonstrate value and ROI.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to enhance client success and business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met promptly and effectively.

About You:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar client-facing role, ideally within the IT or managed services sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • A problem-solver with a client-focused approach and the ability to address client needs effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • A keen eye for opportunities to improve services and support business growth.
  • Familiarity with IT services and solutions is highly advantageous.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
