About the Role:
As an IT Administrator, you will be integral to our IT team's success, providing critical support across all our global offices. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading our IT systems while delivering exceptional technical support to our users. This position requires you to work closely with our IT Manager and other team members, taking a leading role in the professionalization and management of our IT tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Policy Development: Provide proactive input in formulating IT policies that enhance the organization's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Regional Support: Based in Utrecht or Paris, you will provide support and participate in projects across all offices.
- System Management: Define, deliver, and support IT solutions, ensuring system upgrades enhance functionality and security.
- Infrastructure Administration: Manage infrastructure components such as firewalls, databases, and malware protection software.
- Communication Technology: Oversee the setup and maintenance of IP phones, video conferencing systems, and Microsoft Teams administration.
- Hardware Management: Coordinate the installation and maintenance of hardware (networks, computers, phones) across offices.
- Technical Support: Provide first and second-level support to users, resolving issues efficiently.
- Service Management: Oversee software patch and release management, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with external service providers and internal departments on hardware and software updates and procurement.
- System Integrity and Security: Monitor and ensure the security and integrity of IT systems.
- Cloud Services: Ensure appropriate use and management of cloud services like Dropbox Enterprise and Microsoft Azure.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience in IT administration.
- Microsoft Expertise: Proficiency with Microsoft products (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 suite, Microsoft Teams), preferably with certifications.
- Cloud Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with managing cloud storage and infrastructure systems (Dropbox, Azure, Intune).
- Helpdesk and Network Management: Experience in helpdesk operations and administration of network infrastructure (workstations, TCP/IP, printers, switches, routers, firewalls).
- Coding Skills: Knowledge of low code/no code development tools or other coding experience.
- Database Management: Experience in database design and management.
- Teamwork and Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively, work in a team, and independently handle tasks under pressure.
- Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and availability to travel.
