Destiny Entertainments are currently looking for someone to join our IT department. On-the-job training will be given for company specific software and processes, however, you will be expected to have a good knowledge of most of the points below. This role is perfect for someone who has a good knowledge and understanding of computers and IT and is willing to advance their career.
The position will be full time, Monday-Friday 09:00-18:00. The successful candidate will be punctual, hardworking and responsible for ensuring all their tasks are complete.

Responsibilities of the role
- Answering support cases
- Fixing IT related issues (hardware and software)
- Deploying and installing hardware (laptops, docking stations, etc.)
- Liaising with external companies to get things fixed (equipment suppliers, service providers, etc.)
Key skills required
- Able to write and/or understand JavaScript (some of our software is written in this language)
- Experience using spreadsheets and word processing
- Good knowledge of computer hardware (i.e. components, how they work, etc.)
- Experience diagnosing and fixing operating system and software related issues
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, switches, AP’s, etc.)
Desired by not required skills
- Experience in a similar role
- Windows Server/Active Directory/etc. knowledge
- CRM/ERP systems experience
- Experience of AWS (specifically, EC2 as well as others)
- Any other coding experience
- Experience with VOIP (external company hosted and managed)
- Knowledge of Android (mobile devices for warehouse processes)
- Smartcard implementation
