Noord Global are excited to be partnering with a global professional services firm who are looking to hire an IT Audit Senior for their practice in Reykjavik, Iceland.
As an IT Audit Senior, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, providing high-quality IT audit and advisory services to a diverse range of clients. You will leverage your expertise to evaluate the effectiveness of our clients' IT controls, assess risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
This is an English speaking opportunity based in an English speaking environment and therefore international applications are very welcome. A relocation package is on offer for international hires.
There is flexibility with the contract length which can either be a long term / indefinite contract or a 2 year contract (with the option to extend after this period)
Main responsibilities:
- Lead IT audit engagements and manage audit teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Evaluate IT infrastructure, operations, and application systems to identify control weaknesses and assess the impact on financial statements and business operations.
- Develop audit plans, document audit findings, prepare reports, and present findings to clients and senior management.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and technology environment, providing insights and value-added recommendations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' IT environments.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering a learning environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Approx. 3-5 years of experience in IT auditing, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies, frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable but not essential.
