I am delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading organisation in Ipswich, Suffolk, who are looking to engage a permanent IT Business Analyst on a hybrid basis (working 2 days per week in their Ipswich office). This growing business has gone from strength to strength within their sector, and continues to grow and innovate, with multiple ongoing projects and wider programmes.
Your new role:
As an IT Business Analyst and the successful applicant to this fantastic job vacancy, you will hit the ground running with current and previous experience working in an IT Business Analyst capacity.
You will have practical experience delivering technical IT solutions and your duties will include:
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders at all levels across multiple departments
- Documenting and evaluating processes
- Supporting various projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Running workshops and taking a lead to identify areas for improvement and process mapping
- Implementing streamlined workflows to enhance productivity and optimise resources
- Designing and implementing optimised workflows and procedures to drive efficiency and cost savings
- Utilising MS Power BI to build and manage dashboards
- Working closely with the development team to translate requirements into solutions
- Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to business users
What you'll need to succeed:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A confident manner with the ability to establish relationships at all levels, and the willingness to take a lead as the IT Business Analyst, with gathering requirements, process mapping, and delivering of new solutions and functional specifications
- Proven experience translating business needs into IT solutions
- The ability to work under your own initiative and with minimal guidance
- UAT testing experience
- Ideally, hands-on experience utilising MS Power BI within an MS stack, although not essential
What you'll get in return:
Unfortunately, this role is unable to consider applicants who require sponsorship and applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Ipswich, as you will be on-site 2 days per week.
The role offers a competitive salary of up to £46,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package including:
