It Business Analyst

Robert Half is partnering with a leading built environment firm based in London to hire a talented and motivated Business Analyst with hands-on experience in implementing ERP systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute to the success of our business and gain valuable experience.

Type: Contract (day rate)

Length: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for ERP system implementation.
• Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of the ERP system, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Work closely with vendors and internal IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, department heads, and end-users.
• Conduct regular meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure that stakeholder expectations are met throughout the ERP implementation process.
• Communicate effectively with diverse teams to ensure a smooth and successful deployment

Data Analysis:

• Utilize strong analytical skills to assess data requirements, mapping, and cleansing for ERP implementation.
• Work with data migration teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data during the transition to the new ERP system.
• Provide insights into data-related challenges and propose effective solutions.

Project Management:

• Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and milestones related to ERP implementation.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.

Qualifications:

• Past experience of implementing an ERP system.
• Strong understanding of business processes, data structures, and system integration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
