Job description

Job title: IT Business AnalystLocation: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular roleSalary: From £43,373 depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing:
  • Formally define the scope and high-level requirements for project deliverables in an Agile environment
  • You will be coaching, mentoring and ensuring that Business Analysis is applied by third parties to project deliverables
  • Dealing with issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information
  • Utilising methods, tools, techniques; selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches
  • You will be responsible for investigating operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes
  • Specifying requirements for environment, data, resources and tools, reviewing and testing results and modifying tests as necessary
  • Your skills and experiences:Essential
  • You will be required to have a Degree/Diploma in Business Analysis or hold relatable equivalent experience
  • A good business acumen will be essential for the role and with this strong stakeholder management experience and willingness
  • An understanding and experience of delivering IT projects via the ITIL framework
  • You will need to have Strong team working skills
  • Desirable
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing and/or defence industry
  • Experience of using Sharepoint
