It Category Manager

Business:

A global facilities management business with well over £1bn in turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category management plans within the IT category area
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships - driving continuous improvement activity
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities within the IT category area
• Continue to drive best practice as the function go through a transformation
• Identify, negotiate, and contract with new suppliers - end to end, strategic role
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support category plans
• Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvement
• Ensure compliance with ethical practices and standards
• Drive efficiency, quality improvement, and risk mitigation through the supply chain

Key Skills:

• Excellent track record of IT focused Procurement delivery
• Strong Category Management experience including developing and implementing category plans
• Able to drive savings but also drive wider value
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Transformation experience would be helpful
