These roles are temporary position up to 6 months, which then may lead to a permanent roles.
You will be provided with one of the departments pool cars when you're required to work onsite. Alternatively, if you have your own care you will be given mileage allowance.
Initially 5 Weeks will be on-site to understand the system, but later there is some flexibility
There is some flexibility, but the working arrangements rota will be 50% working from home / 50% working on site, along the lines of:
- 3 weeks working from home providing IT Support remotely
- 3 weeks working from home working remotely for the IT service desk, taking calls
- 3 weeks visiting GP surgeries in the Coventry area, fixing their issues (getting laptops/PC's to work, printers, resetting phones, that sort of thing)
- 3 weeks on site Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, in Coventry
Requirements
Experience in providing IT support in both a 1st line and 2nd line Service Desk environment.
Knowledge and experience in supporting:
- Triaging and troubleshooting IT Issues
- Supporting equipment and software
- Windows 7 and 10 operating system
- Office 2010 and 365
- Handheld and smartphone devices
- Working as a team player as well as proficient when working alone
- Excellent verbal and written communications
You'll also need a driving licence (but a car will be provided if you don't have one)
