An exciting opportunity exists to join the IT Team of a privately owned, market leading and massively successful manufacturer based in Winsford.
As the IT Developer you will develop and support software applications for the UK operation, based at the head office in Winsford, Cheshire. This will involve working in conjunction with an external development team to develop additional functionality for the ERP system also developing bespoke applications that interface with the ERP system
Key responsibilities as the IT Developer:
- As part of the IT Team, you will be involved in the full project life cycle, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
- Take user stories, produce designs and develop solutions.
- Develop high quality software design and architecture.
- Ensure code conforms to established methodologies and standards. Maintain the integrity and security of company systems and data.
- Create and maintain system documentation and user training materials.
- Provide software development technical support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential qualifications and experience required for the role of IT Developer:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant field, or able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience developing in a .Net framework using C#.
- Experience of developing and deploying web applications using Azure.
- Experience of using SQL Server.
- Experience of using version control systems.
- Experience of working in Azure DevOps would be desirable.
