It Director

Xpertise have partnered with a Distribution & Logistics organisation who are looking for an IT Director to spearhead a digital transformation across the group. More details are below:

Role:IT Director

Location: Dartford : Roughly 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £110k - £120k

Benefits: 10%, Pension (3.5% EE, 4.5% ER, scaling upwards with years of service), + list of employee benefits

Reporting to: The Group CEO

The Role:

The IT Director is responsible for all IT matters, including security, infrastructure and software, affecting the Group and all members of IT report, either directly or indirectly, to them.

The Company:

As a result of significant growth over the years, the Group have made the decision to hire an IT Director into their leadership team. The key decision that has triggered this 'C level' hire is the desire to implement a new ERP platform to serve the group as a whole.

The Tech Team:

There is currently a team of 17 people in the technology team spread across 3 sites. This team is responsible for driving technology for all 850 employees the Group.

What we're looking for:

- Successfully implemented ERPs in your previous organisations

- Developed & delivered a Cyber Security & Compliance programme - preferably, you would have gone through the ISO27001 certification

- Operate with an outlook on business not pure technology - the business needs technology to provide competitive advantage and it will be the IT Director's responsibility to advise and guide on these matters

- Demonstrable experience translating short & long term IT Roadmaps into measurable actions & results

- Ability to manage and bring a small technology team together in the most efficient ways.
