We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated IT Field Engineer to join the team, and to join the family!

Job Description:

As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing onsite technical support and assistance to our clients across Hampshire and surrounding areas. In addition to providing support for implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems, you will oversee and resolve problems of the server, network devices, storage, and client devices, support IT systems of all end users on a daily basis by monitoring, and troubleshooting. A willingness to travel to various client locations is obligatory.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing onsite technical support and assistance to clients in Hampshire and neighbouring areas.

2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting IT issues on-site, resolving them promptly, and escalating when necessary.

3. Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, workstations, and networking equipment.

4. Performing system upgrades, patches, and installations as required.

5. Collaborating with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

6. Documenting all service activities, solutions, and recommendations.

7. Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a helpdesk or 1st line support role.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Understanding of server installation, configuration, and maintenance.

4. Good understanding and knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac

5. Limited experience installing and configuring Microsoft 365 Applications.

6. Experience with Windows server 2016, 2019, 2022 (Group Policies, Security Policies etc).

7. Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

8. IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are desirable but not required.
