IT Field Engineer - Up to £40,000 + Car Allowance
A multi award-winning Managed Service Provider are looking to on board a Field Engineer to join the team and work closely with one of their key clients, supporting multiple client sites.
You will provide hands on support to some of their enterprise scale accounts, working with some of the latest technologies.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of tickets allocated to them or their relevant ticket queue and professionally manage them through to Resolution or escalation.
- Contributing fully as an active team member and ensure personal and team objectives are achieved.
- Collaborating with other teams to maintain standards and functionality.
- Reporting potential client facing risks.
- Reporting customer feedback and potential product request.
- Collaborating with other teams to maintain standards and functionality.
- Undertaking any other tasks as assigned by management.
- Troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting a wide range of systems.
- Ensure Service level agreements (“SLAs”) are being met.
- Telephony, confirming and capturing accurate information.
- Taking ownership of tickets assigned to you or your relevant VT ticket queue within the required agreed SLA’s.
- Effective troubleshooting skills related to your relevant area of support.
- Taking ownership of technical escalation.
- Contributing to and improve internal knowledgebase assets.
- Referring to internal knowledgebase, assets, and internal/external resources to provide accurate solution.
- A full clean UK driving license and willingness to travel to remote sites over a large area.
Essential Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Aure, Intune and SharePoint.
- Proven track record delivering support across multiple sites.
- Experience working with VMWare or Hyper-V
- Networking experience, working with Cisco or other relevant technologies.
- Desk side support.
