Gibson Jones is hiring an IT Support Engineer on behalf of a large scientific research company in Cambridge due to internal promotion. Reporting directly to the IT Manager you will work in a busy service desk & be jointly responsible for providing IT support to users. In this role, you will predominantly be working on 1st and occasionally 2nd line fixes.
What we are looking for:
- Ideally 1-2 years of experience working within an IT Service Desk environment with knowledge of Windows 10, O365 & Active Directory
- Excellent communication skills to raise tickets effectively & support users
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware & software issues remotely & on site
- Some exposure to Azure, Intune, networking principles, firewalls & Microsoft exchange would be desirable
