Responsibilities
The role;
Solus sets technical and quality standards for today and protects and increases our repair capabilities into the future in line with industry advances, changes to the market, Aviva strategies, and Solus's quality agenda. As Solus Helpdesk Administrator you will be responsible for: Recording of events and service failures, chasing and completion of calls, production of Work Request Failures, liaising with internal and external customers. This role would suit someone at the early stages of their IT career who is looking to grow with a progressive company.
- Ensure all support tickets are logged and managed in a professional courteous manner.
- Ensure internal customer calls and tickets are dealt with in an effective and professional manner.
- Log all incoming calls, incidents, and queries accurately on the company's helpdesk, ensuring sufficient information is recorded.
- Provide a point of contact for updates.
- Proactively act on data provided to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with logistics companies to arrange collections, deliveries, and the resolution of any concerns.
- Support and assist all IT team members allowing the team to achieving its goals and SLA's.
- Assist with install, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Regular upkeep of the IT asset register, ensuring all assets are updated as and when they are moved in and around the business.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the IT Leadership team. Contribute towards achieving the KPI targets for the helpdesk team.
Qualifications
Desirable qualifications and experience;
- Experience or knowledge of supporting IT equipment is beneficial.
- Experienced with Windows 10 and Android operating systems.
- Experience of VPN, Office 365 and Microsoft Teams is preferred.
- Experience in a similar fast paced, driven service centre environment advantageous.
- Helpdesk, Administration, or coordination background knowledge.
