What you will be doing...
As ourIT Infrastructure Architect, you’ll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll create solution designs for on-premises and public cloud Infrastructure Services (e.g. compute, storage, network, database platform and middleware technologies) and ensure alignment with business need, IT strategy and vision.
- You’ll act as the technical authority for infrastructure teams in the plan, design, and delivery of new business solutions, to ensure alignment with agreed infrastructure roadmaps, patterns & standards.
- You’ll ensure all Infrastructure Services are implemented as per agreed designs, standards, and patterns.
- You’ll document and maintain the Infrastructure Architecture, roadman & design and ensure that the documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- You’ll evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that can enhance company performance, efficiency, and customer experience.
What you’ll have:
- Proficient in cloud computing platforms and services (Azure preferred).
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Windows concepts, Linux OS, Domains, Active Directory and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data centre, and application software.
- Strong working knowledge of Hyper-V and Containerisation software (Kubernetes).
- Skilled in data management and storage technologies, including SQL (Microsoft & Oracle), NoSQL (Redis), Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Storage Area Networks & Backup.
- Expert in network security protocols & tooling (e.g. VPN, firewall, encryption, authentication, certificate & secrets management).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols as well as a Good understanding of DNS, DHCP.
- Strong infrastructure management & event monitoring toolset understanding (e.g. SCOM, SolarWinds, Prometheus, Grafana, etc).
- Familiar with software development methodologies & tools, (Agile, Scrum, DevOps).
- Good understanding of Microservices and API software architectures.
- Good understanding of Middleware technologies (messaging and event streaming).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Must be Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (is an advantage)
- TOGAF Certified (is an advantage)
