IT Key User

We're looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Management System IT Key User for a leading Logistics company based in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing functional and technical support and training to the end users of the operational IT system.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm

Duties:

• Configure and set up the Warehouse Management System (WMS) according to the specific needs and requirements of the warehouse
• Define and manage the parameters and rules within the WMS
• Facilitate the integration of the WMS with other enterprise systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Work with IT and external vendors to address integration issues and ensure seamless data flow
• Assess training needs and agree learning aims
• Write literature and materials to be used in education programs
• Deliver training programs in formal (e.g. a classroom) and informal (e.g. floor-walking) or online (e.g. online learning and webinar) settings
• Design and conduct exams to validate training retention
• Maintain records about trainings and exam results
• Consolidate and manage frequent questions in our FAQ database
• Address/perform corrective actions to solve the potential issues
• Ensure data integrity within the WMS by monitoring and managing data quality
• Collaborate with other teams to establish and maintain data standards
• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user manuals
• Regularly update documentation with any changes made to the WMS
• Test new systems
• Collecting feedback from the WMS users to identify areas for improvement

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role
• Experience of WMS implementation
• Experience of training and supporting colleagues
