Opportunity to lead the IT department for a Liverpool based business who specialise in producing technology for the medical industry.

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's information technology projects. This role includes managing IT staff, overseeing IT operations, ensuring technology systems and procedures lead to outcomes in line with business goals, and managing the IT budget. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background while being able to manage and motivate people.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.

• Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.

• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.

• Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation to develop solutions for IT needs.

• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.

• Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems are in place and working correctly.

• Manage and report on allocation of IT budget.

• Provide leadership and direction to IT department to ensure it aligns with the business objectives of the organization.

• Mentor and coach IT department staff.

Skills/ Experience:

• Management of IT Infrastructure for 50 People

• Experienced in Office 365 Administration and MacOS/Windows Support

• Experienced in cyber security best practice.

• Experienced in Laptop and Desktop Support

• Experienced in Active Directory and Domain Configuration

• Cloud Infrastructure AWS/Azure desirable

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.

• Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure including Microsoft O355, Active Directory and Azure/AWS.

• Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.

• Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.

You must be a UK resident with a driving licence and commutable to Liverpool on a regular basis.
