The Opportunity

We’re hiring a IT Procurement and Asset Administrator to join our Tech team to support our business stakeholders, run internal support training, and take the day to day responsibility of Procurement and Asset Administration from the team.

About You

What you will do:

  • You will follow policies and procedures to ensure security and audit compliance.
  • You will relate to the lifecycle management for all managed IT assets including procurement, security, cost tracking, inventory, usage, and disposal.
  • You will respond to requests for IT services, promptly allocating requests as appropriate,
  • maintaining accurate records and informing users about the process and advising of actions taken.
  • You will identify, register and categorise requests for IT assistance with respect to the Asset Management and User Account Administration areas.
  • Review of IT procurement requests.
  • Processing of IT invoices in line with company procedures.
  • Escalation of IT issues within the team.
  • Work to SLA thresholds.
  • Manage the IT Stock Room & Recycle equipment which is beyond economic repair.

  • Good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • The ability to communicate confidently and clearly to customers both face to face and over the telephone including at senior business level.
  • Works within the team and assists others, where required, to achieve a common goal.
  • Holds oneself accountable for performance standards and demonstrates and champions behaviours in line with the service delivery strategy.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to work and to continuous improvement.
  • Listens to and is open to ideas and suggestions from others.
  • Use initiative to ensure that high importance deadlines and SLAs are met.
  • Takes every opportunity to go the extra mile for the company.
  • Always willing to cooperate and assist.
  • Understands impact of own behaviour and language on others and modifies as appropriate.
