Agile Project Manager job description:
This role requires an experienced Project Manager with excellent communication and leadership skills who loves solving problems.
As a Software Project Manager, you will be an essential member of our team, managing a diverse range of software projects and activities. Our mission is to lead change and enable excellent global product delivery by collaborating flexibly and transparently with our partners across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support 2-3 cross-functional agile product development teams as they efficiently deliver features and exciting capabilities (teams are usually between 4 – 8 members, depending on the deliverables)
- Work closely with the Software Development Lead and Product Owner to ensure that the teams remain closely synchronised and upcoming features are well planned
- Ensure project resources and budgets are tracked and kept up to date.
- Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key metrics to appropriate stakeholders.
- Create, manage and share delivery plans, providing visibility of progress
- Own and manage dependencies, ensuring the timely resolution, mitigating where needed or escalating where missed dependencies will impact the teams delivery.
- Identify project risks & issues, escalating where appropriate in a timely manner; ensure impacts are communicated so all parties are aligned; partner with project stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate project impacts
- Make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and procedures
- Ensure timely use of project and technology tools to help drive accountability.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Scrum or Kanban.
- SDLC knowledge and experience managing web based application projects
