It Risk Officer

We’re working on behalf of our prestigious clients who are looking for an IT Risk Officerin Borehamwood. Our client is fully integrated within the pet health services and insurance domain. They are among the Top 5 UK Pet Insurers with the goal of becoming number 1!

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage major IT risks, including analysis, third-party due diligence, audits, and questionnaires
• Assess external IT assets for sensitivity, report significant risks, and inform the security team
• Develop, track, update IT risk action plans, and manage risk acceptance for non-tolerable risks
• Report on IT risk control activities and analyse results to identify/register specific risks
• Participate in IT risk committees, oversee audit recommendation closures, and ensure IT governance compliance
• Review significant incident analyses, and evaluate/challenge IT risk maturity and mapping

Main Skills/ Requirements:

• Outside IR35 position

• IT risk management and analysis knowledge
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, and Managed Service Providers
• Experience with security and governance audits
• Proficient with IT risk tools (e.g., Riskonnect)
• Accurate situational evaluation
• Knowledge of incident handling and security investigation
