We have an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking, highly organised individual to join our Safe Homes Team.
We are currently seeking an individual to provide a high quality service that focuses on fire safety and compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring all fire risk assessments are completed in line with legislation and council policy. Therefore you will need to demonstrate the ability to manage and co-ordinate multiple inspection regimes accurately and professionally.
Ensuring work is completed on time and in budget by a competent contractor is a key function of the role. Experience of building strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and various contractors, as well as demonstrating tact, diplomacy and analytical skills, is essential.
The demanding role will require the successful candidate to adjust to changing demands at short notice whilst passionately delivering a compliant service for our residents. The ability to remain calm and methodical when dealing with challenging situations is crucial, as is the ability to give accurate technical and practical advice to customers and colleagues.
You should be competent, confident and committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will need to be self-motivated with the ability to work independently whilst also working effectively as part of a team. The role is hybrid working with a requirement to attend meetings in person with colleagues and contractors.
