It Security Lead

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an IT Security Lead to join an expanding organisation in Exeter. The role is permanent, paying around GBP40,000 per annum, and is a hybrid opportunity

The Role:

• Lead teams in the development and installation of appropriate ICT security solutions
• Prepare for and manage security incidents and any recovery activity that results
• Establish, maintain and monitor appropriate service level, availability, configuration, capacity, change and release management processes for ICT security services
• Provide feedback to staff on performance, support development of them and their teams and undertake line management responsibilities
• Maintain engagement and act as a core member of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) process
• Maintain engagement and act as a key ICT liaison point into Operational / Business Continuity Department

The Person:

• High levels of interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders across the business
• ICT Security qualifications:
  • CISMP – Certificate in Information Security Management Principles, to be achieved within the first year of appointment, if not already held
  • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional, to be achieved within the first two years of appointment, if not already held
• Significant experience in the configuration and administration of ICT security solutions and services
