Job description


The post holder will work as part of the Lancashire &South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust’s Digital team.
The post holder will work as part of a team who will provide first point of contact support to both agile and anchor workers across Lancashire and South Cumbria and any external agencies that LSCFT supply technical services to.
We are an ITIL driven Service Desk, and we require a Foundation qualification or proof of working towards this. Effective communication, the ability to prioritise and plan workload is essential We currently support over 7,000 customers and whilst only a small team we are very effective.
We require motivated people with the energy and enthusiasm for dealing with the volume of calls currently handled by the desk.
Duties include:
To obtain all required information from stakeholders for jobs received via email and telephone and assign to appropriate team for action.
To provide first class customer service, making sure all stakeholders are kept fully up to date with their calls as per the agreed SLA for their Clinical Business Unit.
Assess, respond to and deal with enquiries from the stakeholders using judgement and knowledge of services provided.
To be responsible for the safe use of own IT equipment some of which may be complex within the technical team.
Maintain and order stock for the department in liaison with budget holder.
Lancashire &South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
