IT Supplier Lead - Permanent

Location: Milton Keynes (2 days a week is the ideal)

The Business:

A leading global bank - household name.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting on the implementation and embedding of an SRM framework that enables the business wide Procurement Transformation succeeds
• Core focus is around driving value and transformation through strategic partnerships with suppliers and the internal supply chain
• Communicating to stakeholders how transformation changes will impact them, acting as an escalation point for any supplier risk or issues
• Identify and mitigate risk through reporting/assessment and tools - ensuring compliance within regulation/policy
• Drive buy-in from the wider business into the new SRM processes, tools and systems
• Lead strategic supplier relationships within the IT area

Key Skills:

• A depth of supplier management experience, ideally with IT vendors across the likes of networks, telco and cloud

• Suppliers such as Amazon, BT, Orcale, IBM and Azure, or similarly large Tier 1's is preferred

• Any experience of being in a transformation/greenfield environment would be useful
• Someone who knows what best practice looks like when it comes to IT contracts
• FS experience would be a nice to have. If not, an ambition to move into FS and a high level of resiliency is key
