We have an excellent opportunity available for an IT Support Analyst to join a successful manufacturing company in Cumbria, which operates across over 50 markets globally. Due to their success, they are looking for Support Analyst on an initial 8-month fixed-term contract, with potential for the role to be permanent afterwards.
The role will involve providing end-user support both in-person, over the phone or remotely across different sites and to ensure that core IT systems and networks are running efficiently across the business.
This is a hands-on and highly technical position, with other duties including setting up new users, password resets, installing new software, hardware set-ups and maintaining equipment.
The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to communicate with people at different levels of the business and previous experience in an IT / end-user support role. You'll be joining an IT team of 12 people and have the opportunity to develop your skills further with hands-on training and support from the IT Manager!
Skills / experience required includes:
- Knowledge of Office 365, Exchange, Azure AD and SharePoint.
- Active Directory
- Understanding of networking technologies
- Hardware support
- Experience of working on an IT Service Desk or similar
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
Due to the nature of the business, the role will be predominantly office based, so candidates must be in a commutable distance of Kendal.
