The Opportunity:
In this role you will support the use of technology throughout the business working closely with internal colleagues, including the Senior Management Team and external facility users.
The post holder will provide first-line IT and systems support throughout the company, monitoring the requirements of users, suggesting appropriate practical solutions which may include working with external providers and partners to deliver the required solutions.
Skills and Experience:
- Working in conjunction with my clients managed IT provider to troubleshoot IT issues with customers, clients and other staff members
- Facilitate staff on-boarding and system orientation for new and existing users.
- Resolve user account issues.
- Facilitate device procurement and on-boarding of staff
- Configure new devices to be compatible with the network and systems meeting the staff requirements.
- Organising repairs when necessary for IT equipment
- Ensure IT assets including hardware and software are tracked through the asset register.
- Ensure my clients owned hardware, associated software and data, are returned to them when a staff member departs, or an appropriate financial penalty is imposed.
- Install, maintain and support new software installations.
- Provide training and guidance to users where required.
- Perform routine system operations.
- Work with colleagues across the business to provide internal audio-visual support to events, working with external stakeholders to identify their requirements ensuring a first-class customer experience.
- Responsible for conducting tests/checks on all required AV equipment 24 hours prior to all events
- Provide technical support to marketing/media and hospitality departments.
