A global organisation in the manufacturing field are looking to recruit a IT Support Coordinator on a permanent basis to join their rapidly growing team.
They require a proactive individual to ensure the service is being delivered on time and efficiently.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support for users, team members, and 3rd parties.
- Manage the triage of internal support tickets for the applications team, establishing SLA priorities and assigning them to the relevant internal or external resource.
- Take ownership of actions for the starter, mover, and leaver process for business applications, including account management and license requirements.
- Maintain awareness of the IT Applications business continuity plan and provide support in the event of plan activation.
- Oversee the business applications email inbox and internal support ticketing system, ensuring real-time updates and accurate statistical data.
- Conduct daily routine checks of business applications and promptly report any issues to internal support.
- Manage 3rd party support tickets for AD account and laptop setup.
- Identify opportunities to reduce support tickets through training and collaborate with the IT trainer to address these needs.
- Handle IT administration tasks, including monthly KPIs, access reviews, and license management.
- Manage hardware for starters, leavers, and faulty replacements/upgrades, including mobile phones.
- 2+ Years working in an IT support environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Full UK driving license and access to vehicle for occasional travel between local sites
- Confident communication both written and verbal and comfortable in candidate facing environment.
