My client is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-oriented IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to their team members. The ideal IT Support Engineer will have a strong background in IT support, with specific experience in managing and troubleshooting Office 365 applications and services.
IT Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Office 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the Office 365 environment.
- Monitor and maintain system security, including antivirus and anti-malware solutions.
- Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Document and maintain IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement IT solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
IT Support Engineer Requirements:
- Previous experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Active Directory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
