Your new company
You will work for a globally recognised and highly acclaimed retail organisation, with a network of sites across both the UK & Europe. Their current IT department is expanding and seeking a French-speaking IT Support engineer to join their first-class HQ in East Lancashire.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be the first point of contact for the companies head office and site in France, dealing with all first line queries and escalating them to the appropriate team. For this role, you will be covering French-speaking offices, therefore fluency in French is mandatory. This is a customer-orientated role and therefore, it is essential you have strong communication skills and the ability to delegate tasks accordingly. You will deal with all requests from the French site via the ticketing system and inbound calls made to the help desk.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be an excellent communicator, with fluency in French as mandatory. You will need to have a good understanding of the basics of IT, but industry experience is not essential. You will demonstrate a fundamental understanding of IT alongside both strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills. It is essential you have the ability to adapt as this role requires you to communicate in both French and English.
